One of my colleagues asked me if putting up a net cafe is feasible business.
During my college days, I remembered one of my classmates had a case study about putting up an internet cafe. It was during this time that boom of net cafe started.
One of the major factors to consider in putting up a business such as net cafe is the foot walk or location. The more foot walk you have the better chances that your business will succeed. In technical aspects, we also need to consider the competition around the area where we are planing to put the cafe. Should there be colleges or universities the better. The target users should be students and professionals.
On technical aspects, following question should be answered first.
Games should also be updated regularly so that gamers will not be bored. Network games should be of great help to earn more revenue. But, today online games tends to be more popular and gamers hang online rather that play LAN games more so that we need a high speed net connections. You can also put a promo such as pay for only 40 php overnight.
For security purposes, disable all the usb except for one unit so to prevent virus from running all over the workstations.
In the end a businessman knows whats best for him.
